FPN Player Larry Sundberg Makes Deep WSOP Monster Stack Run, Earns $7,000 Cash

The Free Poker Network is proud to celebrate one of our own, Larry Sundberg, who recently made an impressive deep run in the 2026 World Series of Poker $1,500 Monster Stack event.

Larry, a familiar face at The Salty Pickle, Billy's Corner Bar & Grill, and The Dougout Bar & Grill, battled through a massive field of 11,933 entries in one of the largest tournaments of the summer. After three grueling days of competition against some of the best players in the world, Larry ultimately finished 404th, earning an impressive $7,000 payday.

The journey was nothing short of remarkable. Larry advanced to Day 3 of the event with only 586 players remaining, already guaranteeing himself a cash prize while setting his sights on the coveted World Series of Poker bracelet and the tournament's $1.3 million first-place prize.

Larry's success on poker's biggest stage comes as no surprise to those who know him from the Free Poker Network. Earlier this year, Larry showcased his tournament skills by finishing 3rd place in the FPN Royal Court National Championship, earning $2,500 and proving he could compete against some of the strongest players in the network.

His deep run at the WSOP serves as another example of what FPN players can accomplish when they take their game to the next level. From local league nights to the bright lights of Las Vegas, Larry represented the Free Poker Network with skill, determination, and class.

Congratulations to Larry Sundberg on an outstanding performance at the World Series of Poker. The entire FPN Nation is proud of your accomplishment, and we can't wait to see what poker success comes next!
