Every bar in the league invited all regular season tournament winners to a special "Tournament of Champions" tournament recently and those individual champs all recently competed for the NATIONAL Tournament of Champions final on FPN Online. When it was all said and done, Mike Marek (pictured) from East Grand Forks, MN came out victorious and earned air/hotel package to Las Vegas to compete in the FPN Poker Pro national final. Mike has competed in several World Series of Poker events in the past and has a long history of success playing poker. He will certainly be one of the favorites to take the top prize in the FPN Poker Pro final where the "league pro" will be crowned on December 3rd at The Mirage.
Daryl Braun from Jamestown, ND recently competed in the Sin City Showdown National Championship in Las Vegas. There were a total of 75 players from all over the US and the top ten received a buy-in into the following days WSOP event number 54. Daryl played some good cards and was able to make the top ten. Unfortunately the following day in the WSOP didn't go as well, but what a great experience. We look forward to seeing Daryl competing on the tables soon.

It happened again, as Peggy Howard from Larimore, ND scratched her way to the Poker Pro National Championship. It took her all seven attempts, but she nailed a straight flush with the seventh attempt. Peggy got the 6-7-8-9-10 of diamonds to win her spot in the National Championship and $200. We expect there are going to be a lot more winners yet to come, good luck!
