Jeff Steiner Does It Again!

gr2_playoffs_250wJeff Steiner past grand prize winner of the Desert Heat promotion has done it again!  This past weekend Jeff faced off against 14 other players all with the same goal to win a spot in the Gold Rush 2 National Championship.  At the National Championship at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas $20,000 will be up for grabs between 26 players with first place being $5,000 cash.  About half way through the Missouri state championship Jeff picked up pocket 10's and hit a set on the flop.  When the river came it was the best scenario Jeff could have wished for as the board paired giving him a full house, but giving his opponent a ace high flush.  Both players got all their chips in the middle with Jeff scooping the pot.

The hand made Jeff the chip leader and from there on out Jeff was able to manage his way through the tournament taking it down as he has done it before.  Jeff is excited to go back to Vegas and hopes his luck runs a little better then last time.  Congratulations Jeff and we look forward to seeing you again in December!
