Scott Miller from Annandale, MN is the latest winner from the Free Poker Network. Pete Bushey drew this months scratch poker winner for any two pair or better. Scott is now qualified to participate in the Golden Ticket National Championship. Watch the video to see it all happen.
While most Americans will be grilling and shooting off fireworks on July 4th, 121 lucky poker players from 20 different states will be celebrating the 4th in hot Las Vegas at the MGM poker room. Starting at 1pm Vegas time the FPN Vegas or Bust National Championship will be kicking off where we will be awarding 12 seats into the 2012 World Series of Poker one of which includes the coveted $10,000 MAIN EVENT seat to the new National Champion. It is an extensive field with 17 players who will be making their second or more National Championship trip, four of which have won previous WSOP seat through the league, and includes one Nels Peterson who has won two WSOP seats, over $5,000 in cash, and is a previous National Champ in previous FPN promotions.

As part of his Poker Pro contract, National Champion Brandon Dosch from Fargo, ND recently flew to Las Vegas to compete in two World Series of Poker events. Unfortunately the first event #38 didn't go so hot as he lost in a coin flip, but his second event he played in #43 he made it to day two and ended up in the cash. Brandon finished 160th place and took home $3,665. This was Brandon's fourth career cash all from buy-ins provided by the Free Poker Network. Brandon's life time cash earnings now exceed over $60,000!
Andrew from the home office drew May's perfect attendance drawing and congratulations to Jeff Walke from Jumping Jacks in Isanti, MN. By getting drawn Jeff is now qualified for the Golden Ticket National Championship all by showing up at his bar. This summer we have some great prizes we are giving away which include a camcorder for June, a TV for July, and an iPad 3 for August.
Friend of the league Mitch Schock from Bismarck, ND is back at the 2012 World Series of Poker. Fresh off his bracelet win last year, Mitch made his first cash of this years WSOP. Mitch took 27th place in event number 31 a $1,500 buy-in no limit holdem event. For his 27th place finish he earned himself a cool $19,000.
