David Kalet Wins Spring Regional Golden Ticket
Recently David Kalet from Norfolk, Nebraska won the FPN Online spring regional championship to qualify for the Golden Ticket National Championship. The regional championships are held every three months online and to qualify you must win your regional in the playoffs. It is an exclusive tournament with less than 30 players. David qualified from the Depot in Norfolk and went on to win the North Nebraska regional to qualify for the spring regional championship online. David not only won his spot in the Golden Ticket National Championship, he will also be receiving airfare allowance and a hotel stay at Harrah's in December. 2 MN players scratch their way to Vegas
Two lucky Minnesota poker players have just scratched their way to Las Vegas for the Golden Ticket National Championship. Joseph Dougherty of Duluth, MN scratched off four 3's at the Other Place Bar in Duluth. Dan Okan from North Branch was able to get lucky enough to qualify his way to the National Championship by scratching off four Aces. Both players are now qualified for the December 10th National Championship at the Mirage poker room in Las Vegas.
Kenny Stebbins Wins August Drawing
Congratulations to Kenny Stebbins from West Frankfort Illinois as his scratch poker card was drawn for the two pair or better drawing for the month of August. Kenny scratched off two pair of eights and sevens. Kenny is now qualified for the Golden Ticket National Championship on December 10th at the Mirage poker room in Las Vegas.
Scott Sandstrom Wins a New HDTV
Scott Sandstrom didn't fair too well at the Bowler on Sundays only pointing once out of the five weeks. However, by Scott just attending all five weeks he got lucky enough to get drawn for the perfect attendance drawing to win a brand new HDTV in the month of July. Kevin Donovan wins Aug 1st Monthly FPN Online Tourney
On Wednesday August 1st Kevin Donovan screenname "WideRight" from Sprinfield, VA won his was to the Golden Ticket National Championship in December. Kevin was able to defeat Colleen Swedish screenname "jokamsco" from Waterford, NY heads-up for the win. Unfortunately for Colleen this is her second runner up finish, but for her effort has won a second iPod Shuffle.
