Mike Marek from East Grand Forks outlasted 113 people over almost 4 hours to win the first of three online "Party at the Palms" championships on Sunday, March 8th. 

Mike is certainly no stranger to championships as he qualified for the MN AND ND Ship It! state championships this past fall. We went very deep in ND finishing in 10th place, only 8 spots from the cruise!

Mike is the first of 50 players qualify for the Party at the Palms championship in the Kingpin Suite where 21 WSOP seats will be awarded!  He also received $500 in travel money with his win.  See you in Vegas Mike!!!
