On Saturday February 21st, 15 qualifiers from the Fort Walton Beach took their shot at becoming the next Florida State Champion. Michael Jacobo along with six other people started the tournament with a double stack and it payed off for Michael as he was crowned the newest Florida champion.
By winning Michael won
himself airfare and hotel on the Vegas strip and while in Las Vegas, Michael will join 24 other players from around the country to compete in
the Free Poker Network National Championship at Caesar's Palace at the
end of April. In all $12,000 worth of buy-ins will be distributed to
the 25 players with first place being a $5,000 World Series of Poker
circuit event at Caesar's Palace. We look forward to seeing and
partying with Michael!
On Saturday, September 12th, Attitudes Food & Spirits held the Florida state championship for the Desert Heat promotion. When it was all said and done the new Florida state champion was Bobby Pacheco. Congratulations Bobby and we look forward to seeing you at the Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas!!!
Congratulations to Glen Kowalski from Attitudes in Fort Walton Beach and Janet Judge (picuted right) from Sunshine Bowl in DeLand. Both players each won $500 for travel to Las Vegas to compete in the Party at the Palms National Championship at the Kingpin & Erotic suites at the Palms Casino. Glen and Janet will compete against 48 other players throughout the league with 21 players winning a $1,500 package.
Buffalo Wild Wings in Fort Walton Beach is the newest spot to play the Free Poker Network in Florida. They kick off on Friday July 10th for the Desert Heat promotion at 7pm. The second game will start at 10:00pm. Welcome aboard BW3's!!!
Jack Lippert from Attitudes, Dennis Lusk from Attitudes, and Josh Snyder from Sunshine Bowl will soon compete for their chance at a 7-day cruise package. They will compete in a 19 person two table winner take all championship on-line on Sunday February 22nd at 7:00 EST.
If they are the last person standing they will receive the 10th and final seat on-board the Norwegian Spirit for seven days. While on-board they will play two tournaments one for a chance at a $10,000 World Poker Tour seat. The second being the exclusive Free Poker Network 10 person Grand Prize Highroller package. Included in the package is $5,000 worth of tournament buy-ins in Las Vegas featuring two World Series of Poker buy-ins.
